The Propeller Club is pleased to welcome back Brian LeFebvre, retired Coast Guard officer and past Captain of the Port of Northern New England, this time to share his perspective on the offshore wind industry from his new position as TotalEnergies Renewables USA’s Marine Affairs Manager. Brian is uniquely qualified to speak to areas of mutual interest of the Propeller Club and Offshore Wind Drinks. Brian will offer a presentation and question and answer period during the dinner portion of the meeting. o Dinner requires a $40 fee (cash or check) and can be collected at the door. o For all interested to join for dinner, please RSVP to Guy Gledhill of the Propeller Club at PortlandPropellerClub@gmail.com with your name, organization, and choice of fish or steak meal option. We hope you can join us for this fantastic opportunity to introduce two networking groups that share many common interests regarding offshore wind development in the Gulf of Maine. The Propeller Club of the United States is the largest maritime association in the US and works tirelessly to promote the maritime industry, commerce and global trade. Locally, the Propeller Club of Portland, Maine was chartered in 1938 and has over 135 members representing fleet operators, deck and engine officers, terminal managers, agents, chandlers, members of government and others with a keen interest in the development and operation of Maine’s ports. Offshore Wind Drinks is an informal network of people who convene to discuss ideas, trends, and observations about the market. Anyone interested in offshore wind is welcome to join us. Many of our attendees are looking for ways to access the market and most are trying to learn more.
