About the event
NYC OSW Drinks will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 6:00pm to 8:30pm at the Atrium in Building B of the Brooklyn Army Terminal (BAT). Join us for a night of networking with Offshore Wind (OSW) industry professionals! All are welcome! Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
You can find directions to BAT by entering 80 58th St, Brooklyn, NY 11220 into a GPS platform. Upon arrival, please follow the wayfinding signs and walk into Building B and the Atrium will be straight ahead. There is free parking available at Pier 4.
You can get to BAT by public transit!
· Ferry: Take the NYC ferry to the Sunset Park/ Brooklyn Army Terminal stop
· Train: Take the train to the 59th St N/R subway station
Optional Climate Week Tour
· From 6:00pm-7:30pm, there will be an optional shuttle tour of the OSW-focused assets in NYCEDC’s Sunset Park District and Industry City. Please see below for itinerary. Sign up here (https://nycedc.formstack.com/forms/nycedc_sunset_park_tours_osw) by 5pm on 9/13/24 to indicate interest! Space is limited. NYCEDC will confirm your seat on the tour after individuals have indicated interest. Note, the tour will begin at and return to BAT so that participants can join the NYC OSW Drinks event.
Expected Tour Itinerary
6:00pm Meet at BAT
6:15pm Visit Industry City to view Equinor’s Climate Week Educational Exhibit
6:30pm View South Brooklyn Marine Terminal from Industry City and visit the OSW Innovation Hub
7:00pm Return to BAT to learn about Climate Innovation Hub
7:30pm Join OSW Drinks
